STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math)

Apollo's STEM magnet program focuses on innovation, computer skills (coding, gaming), software design, and engineering, with students launching rockets and studying flight.

Cambridge Program

Develops global perspectives and 21st-century skills, preparing students for Cambridge high school programs and scholarships.

Dual Language Program

The Dual Language Program offers a school-within-school approach to second language acquisition education.   The goal of the program is to provide students with the opportunity to become fully bilingual by learning, listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in English and the target language.  Students who participate in the program will continue in the program at the next grade level the following year. 

Culinary Program

This program introduces students to the Restaurant and Food/Beverage Services career pathway, helping students gain the skills and education needed to be successful and secure a job in one of Florida’s emerging industries

This course includes but is not limited to the development of leadership skills, communication skills, and employability skills; resource management; exploration of careers in the culinary; food safety and sanitation; safe, proper use of culinary tools/equipment; interpreting recipes and developing menus; basic food preparation skills; front-of-the-house and back-of-the-house responsibilities; artistic presentation of food; and the use of technology in the culinary field.
